Hey, I'm Trevor!
Inspired by many of you since the mid 2000’s, Birthday Advocate since January 2018
In one way or another, you’ve all inspired either myself or millions of other people around the world. You’re all considered influencers. So now it’s my turn, I want to inspire you. I realize that thousands of other very talented people around the world are looking for your attention in attempt to inspire you as well. So to show you the kind of value I’ll bring to your life and so many others too, I’ve decided to be proactive and I have analyzed a new global movement to give you my two cents on where you should focus (a sliver of your attention to) next:
Please scroll through the report and email or get in touch with me when you’re done :)

Swinging a tennis racket like Serena and Roger
Leading a nation like Justin, Jacinda, Barack and Michelle

(to my utter disappointment - huge Green Bay Packer fan and former high school reciever)
Why This Matters
There are things in life that everyone has, there are things in life that everyone needs and there are things in life that everyone wants. They are broken down into these three categories, with a few examples for each one:
Things that everyone has include: birthdays, stories, thoughts, ideas, and passions
Things that everyone need include: food, water, shelter, air, and belonging
Things that everyone want include: fulfillment, happiness, purpose and becoming the most one can be
I believe that the more people who share stories about their life, their mission and eventually their legacy, it will in turn make it possible for more and more people around the world to get what they need to live. Simultaneously, it’ll give people who decide to share their story a sense of purpose and a happier and more fulfilled life overtime as well. And by the looks of it, I’m not the only person who believes storytelling is the key.
- In the words of Natalie Portman, “Storytelling is the way we build our identity as human beings. Which memories do we choose to tell when we tell our life story? What are the meaningful formative moments in your story?”
- In the words of John Krasinski, “I think we all have a responsibility to tell good stories”
- In the words of Cristiano Ronaldo, “We don't just want to tell our dreams. We want to show them.”
Eventually, your story will become your legacy.
- In the words of Usain Bolt, “Don't think about the start of the race, think about the ending”
- In the words of Taylor Swift, “No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.”
- In the words of Gary Vaynerchuk, “Legacy is greater then currency. No matter what you do, your job is to tell your story.”
Below, starting with Katie, 50 of you are quoted sharing some of your beliefs, views and advice on risk taking, giving, finding your purpose, and inspiring those who look up to you
Where To Start
We’ve already started! Your birthday is your personal platform, your birthday is a reminder of your existence and each year, it’s a new chapter of your personal story. I want to inspire you to share Your Birthday Mission, your story and what'll eventually become part of your legacy.
For those that don’t know, Scott Harrison actually started this movement back in 2006 with his story with Charity Water. Since 2006, there have been almost 100,000 other people who have made ‘donating their birthday’ to Charity Water their story because they were inspired by Scott, his story and Charity Water’s mission to provide clean water to everyone in the world.
And in 2017, Facebook made it possible for anyone with a Facebook profile to ‘donate their birthday’ to one of over 750,000 nonprofits. Below, you’ll see Ashton Kutcher's 2018 birthday fundraiser to Thorn. Click HERE or on Ashton's screenshot below to see what causes Jennifer Hudson, Tony Robbins, Madonna and Will Smith donated their birthday's towards in 2018.
Next year is going to be a year that redefines how people tell their story. And 365 of you will have the honor, privilege and opportunity to be recognized and known as a 'Your Birthday Mission Inspiration'
If you're an influencer, see if you've made the 'YBM Inspirations' list here
Can You Start Donating Your Birthday Today?
The obvious answer is probably not. (Your Birthday only comes around once every 365 days). Sign Up Here and we’ll remind you!
We believe that there will be a day in the future when it’ll be the new normal to share Your Birthday Mission with the world.
Feeling appreciated and valued, sharing their story and being listened too, being passionate about what they do, feeling trusted, making a positive difference in their community and in the world and finding purpose, fulfillment and happiness in life.
Not being appreciated or valued, not being listened too, not having a voice for what matters, a lack of trust or transparency in our leaders, putting profits over a purpose or the right thing to do, not being included, not being given opportunities and not feeling like they belong.
People Complain About
There is real value in embracing this birthday movement Charity Water started and Facebook recently implemented - at a personal level, but also at a societal level too. Your voice, your ideas and how you want to be remembered one day matter and we want to hear and share what you care about.
In the words of Steve Jobs at Stanford’s 2005 Commencement, “Remembering that you are going to die is the best way to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked; there is no reason not to follow your heart. Stay hungry, stay foolish.” I remember hearing this speech in a college and I was instantly inspired by Steve’s message. For the rest of my life, I want to inspire you to follow your heart and share what you care about on your birthday each year
Consistent Inspirational Opportunities
Most of the time, you’re the ones inspiring your fans or followers. But other times, you’re the ones being inspired. The reality is that when, not if, the 366 of you as leaders and influencers share Your Birthday Mission’s with the world, it’s going to empower and inspire people everywhere to share their Birthday Mission’s too. Imagine the good it's going to bring to people all over the world, year after year. Imagine what 2020 will truly look like when you all truly start this movement in 2019.
The Inspirational Opportunities as the inspirer, or the one being inspired will be endless.

Why Did I Do This?
I fell in love with being inspired by influential people like all of you years ago, especially Gary Vaynerchuk. First as a viewer, then as a doer, and somewhere in between I found myself completely enamored by the positive power an influencer can have in someone’s life.
On May 31st 2018, I quit my job at one of the fastest growing startups in the nation with the hopes of partnering with all of you to change the world. I realize that there are hundreds of millions of other people that are looking for your attention and even to partner and work with all of you too, but I’m determined to find a way to contribute to our future.
To understand more of my story and to see who inspired me, you can read more here.
Why I Love People
I believe in people. I believe in your ideas, your passions, your thoughts, your beliefs, your hopes, your dreams and your goals that you envision in yourself and for yourself.
I love how inspiring someone through storytelling can build bridges across cultures to a better future for everyone.
When inspired, people like you foster a sense of openness and a desire to give back to make our world better.
Working with people like you and sharing ‘Your Birthday Mission’ provides the opportunity to be a part of a better world.
Why I Believe Everyone Belongs
As I stated above, the feeling of belonging is a human need. Everyone needs to feel like they belong. As humans, we all belong to different groups, communities, or ‘Tribes’ as Seth Godin puts it, and it’s part of what makes life worthwhile. We belong to an organization or a company, we belong to a country and a city, we belong to a state, we belong to a local community, a lot of us belong to an alma mater, a lot of us belong to multiple sports teams, others belong to fan groups of certain bands, while others belong to political parties. The more opportunities that people have to belong, the greater chance people have to live a fulfilled and happy life with meaning and purpose.
Where I'll Belong
I’m committed to inspiring you to inspire people by sharing Your Birthday Mission. The world needs more doers, the world needs more leaders, and the world needs more people who care. Now you can do, lead and care on your birthday by sharing Your Birthday Mission with the world.
